I am a Periodontist by day. Artist by night.

where my intentions are:
Embracing bravery & trying new things
Inspiring joy
And blooming as an artist & writer.

“Brave” is a word that gained great personal significance to me in 2020. I’ve claimed that word as my own, using it as the jet fuel to propel myself into facing things I’ve never done, or things that have been limiting beliefs in the past. Opening up this art shop & creating this website to showcase my creative practice is another small act of bravery on the list of uncomfortable things I have leapt into since the start of the pandemic.
I have painted, sketched, and written poetry and stories my entire life. It was a creative outlet that was always there, coming in and out of my life when I was struggling & most needed it. But what I’ve come to realize is: I always need it. The periods of my life where I’ve embraced my creativity and committed to its pursuit have been some of the most fulfilled times in my life.
I have long grappled with my identities as a surgeon vs artist…
But it’s not a competition.
I can be both.
I AM both.
They are both critical & equal parts of me.

In many ways I always knew I’d end up sharing my work or writing in some way. But never did I think I would be HERE. With you. Building a community & seeing my paintings going out into the world, and seeing it give back to the world at the same time. But because of an incredible wave of support from so many, this wild idea has become reality.
